In August of 2006, it started to appear as though Nick, three years old at the time, was gaining weight. Over a period of 5 days, Tom and I realized something was wrong when Nick had swelling from his eyelids to his ankles.
We brought him to an on call doctor on a Saturday, and by the end of the visit I was given a slip of paper and told to contact a Renal & Transplant facility in Springfield, MA. Needless to say, I was in hysterics at the end of that visit. Full Story |

Our precious son, Mac, was diagnosed with Childhood Nephrotic Syndrome after his five-year well-child checkup. Our pediatrician noticed that Mac had elevated blood pressure and checked his urine, which was

In August 2005, Jessica was diagnosed with FSGS. She was a sophomore in college when she found out. Jessica went through countless tests, trips to doctors, and emergency room visits before they were able to diagnose her with this devastating disease. Her life has not been the same. At the age of 21 months, our beautiful little angel Gabriella Rose (Elle) Falzarine was diagnosed with minimal change after frequent relapses and multiple hospital visits.
