In addition to The NephCure Foundation’s signature events The NephCure Walk, Countdown to a Cure and Lunch & Learns, NephCure patients, families and friends are encouraged to take part in many of the local events and Family Fundraisers around the country.

If you don’t see an event listed in your area, we encourage you to be creative and start one! Many friends of NephCure have turned their hobbies into successful fundraisers and a chance to connect with other families facing the same challenges.

 
 


The Clancy Family raises $37,000 for NephCure

• Jeff Brody, along with friends and family, hosted the first annual NephCure Golf Tournament in Monroe Township, NJ and raised over $21,000 for NephCure.

•Kim Spicer and Lydia Sankey participated in the 113th Boston Marathon in honor of two young kidney disease sufferers and together raised just under $25,000.

• Friends and family of young FSGS patient Ellie Hernandez collected over $6,000 at “A Toast to NephCure:  in Honor of Ellie Hernandez."

• Meg Beierschmitt participated in the Central Park Women's Half Marathon and raised $3,257 in honor of Hannah, her boyfriend's five-year-old cousin.
