Long Island Families Visit Evans

photoPatients and families from Long Island, NY recently visited NCF Ambassador Dawn Evans after a James Madison University game at Hofstra.

The families who attended included, Levine, Rosario, Genatt, Peterson, Costa, Cascio and Flaherty. They cheered on Dawn during the game and then met with her, many for the first time, afterwards.

Dawn, who scored 17 points in a 75-73 loss, met with each family like she does at every other game.

"What she is able to accomplish is amazing," said Rich Genatt, father of kidney disease patient Allie.  "She is such a positive role model and influence for everyone, patients and families, suffering from kidney disease.
