Emma's Hope for a Cure

The 2nd Annual "Emma's Hope for a Cure" fundraiser was held on May 9, 2009 and raised $65,000 for the NephCure Foundation.

Nearly 400 people attended the fundraiser which was filled with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, amazing prizes and a silent auction at Moseley's on the Charles in Dedham, MA.

Emma's Hope for a Cure is held in honor of Emma Jane Raftery, who suffers from Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS).  Emma, now age 5, was diagnosed with FSGS just after her 3rd birthday.

In honor of Emma's battle, her father, Greg, will also participate in the Cohasset Triathalon on June 28, 2009.

Thank you to Siobhan, Greg and the entire committee for all of their help with the event.
