Hearn Plays in Golf Tournament with Alonzo
Mourning

June 7th , Ed Hearn, FSGS patient, Ambassador
for NephCure and member of the 1986 World
Champion NY Mets, participated in a Golf
Tournament hosted by Alonzo Mourning at
Trump National Golf Course in Westchester
County, NY. NephCure arranged for Hearn,
who lives in Kansas, to visit kidney
disease
patients at Montefiore Hospital in New
York and St. Christopher's Hospital for
Children
in Philadelphia , PA. Many of the patients
were pediatric kidney patients and were
extremely excited to have a new visitor,
especially one with a World Series Ring
who could relate to them as kidney disease
patients. Ed Hearn conducted an interview
with the NY Post for an article that will

here. While visiting Montefiore,
Ed Hearn and NephCure Executive
Director, Henry
Brehm, met with Dr. Frederick Kaskel,
NephCure Scientific Advisory Board member,
and
his
staff to brainstorm the promotion of
the upcoming FSGS
Clinical Trials.
