NephCure Zumba-Thon Raises $2,200

Nearly 20 people came to together on Saturday, June 23 for the first-ever NephCure Zumba-Thon, raising $2,200 in the fight against the kidney disease FSGS and Nephrotic Syndrome.

The event, which was spearheaded by Brandie Grosso, was held at the Lucille Roberts in Clifton, NJ. Grosso’s four-year-old son, Dominic, suffers from Nephrotic Syndrome.

Fellow patient Christina Rassel from East Rutherford, NJ, also took part in the event.

A special thanks goes out to Zumba instructors Anita Vatavuk, Fabianna Saarloos and Corey Sabatino for donating their time to the event.
