Letters for Life
The NephCure Foundation has embarked on a National Initiative to raise funds and awareness for research seeking the cause and cure for Nephrotic Syndrome and FSGS Letter writing campaigns are among the most efficient ways to fundraise. The time and cost you will spend are minimal, while the rewards are vast! You have the opportunity to increase the awareness of FSGS and Nephrotic Syndrome while sharing with your friends and colleagues the importance of NephCure’s research for you. Personal connections are vital in successful letter campaigns. Your friends and acquaintances will give because you asked for their help in understanding FSGS and Nephrotic Syndrome and finding a cure.
Sonia Valentine, grandmother of Noah, a three year old patient affected by FSGS did just so. She sent a letter to her family, friends, and co-workers and asked for their support. Her campaign is very successful and she has already raised over $20,000 (!) to benefit NephCure.
"I am grateful for the support I have been receiving from everyone," says Sonia. "I would like to encourage other patient families to team up with NephCure. It is important to educate the public and to request that more research funds will be directed toward these conditions."
