Memorial Middle School Raises Funds for Research

Members of Memorial Middle School 's Student Council in Fair Lawn , New Jersey raised $280 from a bake sale they organized in honor of FSGS patient, Sarah Grill. Jacqueline Grill, Sarah's sister and member of Memorial's Student Council, suggested that proceeds from the bake sale go to NephCure in the hopes of helping to find a cure for her sister. The donation will be matched because of NephCure's partnership with the NIDDK (click here for more details) to total $560 that will be put toward research into FSGS. NephCure, on behalf of all those hoping for a cure, would like to thank the students at Memorial for their leadership and support.
