The First Annual “Creeping for a Cure” 5K Walk/Run was held on the beautiful historic Creeper Trail on Saturday, October 2nd in Abingdon, VA.  With an original goal of $2,500, funds raised totaled over $16,000!  Eric Miller, 33, husband, son and brother of walk organizers – Debbie, Lynne, Laurie, Lisa and Katie, has been battling FSGS for 8 years.  The disease has not kept him from keeping up with his 3 and 4 year old girls.  NephCure thanks the Miller family for their support and enthusiasm in organizing this very successful fundraiser!
