Team Jesse Keeps the Momentum Going for NephCure's Illinois Chapter

After this fall's Step Forward walk took place in Chicago, Illinois, the Weslake Country Club decided to continue their support for one of their community families, Team Jesse, in finding a cure.  The Weslake Country Club in Romeoville, Illinois, along with members of the community organized an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast at The Weslake Country Club on November 4th. By raising an additional $438 for NephCure, the community in and around Romeoville came together to show their support for Team Jesse and other families in the area hoping to find a cure for FSGS! As residents of the community, Team Jesse feels truly blessed and grateful to God and all who've taken part to support this cause, including Janice, Peggy, Bill, Teresa, Genny, Eileen, Jody, Cindy, Chris, Karen and everyone else who has assisted with the pancake breakfast, community picnic and the upcoming Spaghetti Dinner. Your kindness and generosity will never be forgotten!

Also showing their support for Team Jesse is the beautiful Westin Lombard Yorktown Center in Lombard, Illinois.  The Westin Lombard Yorktown Center supports their team member who is part of Team Jesse.  During the pre-opening phase, The Westin Lombard Yorktown Center loosened its dress code policy for "Jeans Friday." Everybody from the group's "Pre Opening" team was allowed to wear jeans for the day if they agreed to make a contribution to a designated charity that would later be determined.  A total of $810 was raised, and the Executive Committee members decided to donate all of the money to NephCure in honor of Team Jesse.  On behalf of Team Jesse, we thank the entire Westin Lombard team for their kindness, and generosity.  Thank you for supporting Team Jesse, NephCure and additional families in finding a cure and raising awareness!
