NephCure's New Vehicle Donation Program

Do you have a car, truck, boat, motorcycle or RV you are thinking of selling or trading in? Donate it to The NephCure Foundation! You may receive the actual fair market value as a tax deduction and as a charitable contribution, and your vehicle donation could make a big difference in our efforts to save kidneys and save lives.

NephCure has teamed up with an experienced and reputable car donation program that will make all the arrangements to quickly and easily pick up your car donation at no cost to you. They handle the title transfer requirements and will provide you with a donation receipt from NephCure when they pick up your car. It's easy - begin the process by downloading the Vehicle Donation Form and answering a few questions about your vehicle. Q: What can I donate?
A: We accept most vehicles and vessels including but not limited to cars, trucks, trailers, boats and RV's.

Q: Is my donation tax deductible?
A: Yes. NephCure is classified with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. Donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Individual tax situations vary so please check with a tax professional to determine what if any tax benefit you may receive.

Q: What do I need to donate my vehicle?
A: We would like the title to the vehicle, but if you do not have it please call us anyway. It is possible that other arrangements can be made. Please call us toll-free at 1-866-NEPHCURE Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-6 p.m. ET or email us at info@nephcure.org.

Q: My car hasn't run in years. Can I still donate it?
A: Yes, we are able to accept most vehicles running or not (exceptions include older vehicles whose value would not offset the cost of towing). To find out if we can accept your vehicle, please call or email us.

Q: Can you pick up vehicles in all 50 states?
A: Yes, we are able to arrange pick up for accepted vehicles in the continental U.S. and Hawaii.

Q: How is the value of my car determined?
A: We suggest you review IRS Publication which sets forth the manner in which the IRS requires you to determine the value of your donated property. In short, the IRS allows you, the donor, to assess the fair market value of your vehicle. The Kelly Blue Book web site (www.kbb.com) will be helpful in determining the value of your vehicle.

Q: How will the car be picked up?
A: Your vehicle towed away by a professionally licensed, bonded and insured towing company.

Q: How long will it take to pick up my car?
A: Call or email us and we will fill out the donation form and submit it immediately. You will at least be contacted within four business days after we submit the donation form.
