Local chapters play a very important role in the lives of people dealing with Nephrotic Syndrome and FSGS. All local chapters are part of the NephCure Foundation family. Chapters will be able to, among other things:

• Provide a forum for the sharing of experiences among members

• Offer support, encouragement and education for local families & individuals dealing with NS & FSGS

• Participate in fund raising and advocacy efforts

• Enlist the help of local professionals including doctors, nurses, dieticians and social workers to connect with other families dealing with these diseases

• Build a grassroots network to "get the word out" – educate the community and encourage involvement

• Stay informed about studies, research and progress

NephCure has several active chapters within the United States, and we welcome your participation!

Starting a chapter is not a daunting task - in fact, it's well worth the effort. NephCure will assist you throughout this process, and you will be in constant communication with fellow volunteers and our staff.
